Aiden's 1st Christmas!

Well Aiden had his first Christmas yesterday and it was a lot of fun! He got lots of cute things, some clothes and some toys. Mom and Dad got a few things too. Thank you so much everyone. :)

So Aiden had a Dr. appointment on Wednesday the 20th (his due date!). Jason, myself, and the nurse all guessed how much he would weight. Jason said 7lbs. 1oz, I said 7lbs. 4oz., and the nurse guessed 7lbs. 8oz.
Of course mom was right, he weighed in at 7lbs. and 4oz.! It's too bad we didn't wager anything, hehe. The Dr. said he looks great and is doing just fine. He also got a Hepetitis shot, which he didn't enjoy obviously, but he was fine a few seconds after it was done.
Thursday night was an interesting one. I decided to take a leap off the porch in a hurry to get my phone out of my car. I fractured my foot, yay. Friday morning I had it casted and now it's on it's way to healing. I walk like a gimp, but hey. And the best part? My phone wasn't even in my car.
We went to a Christmas party on Friday night, and everyone loved him as usual.

Here we are again, with some new pictures of Aiden! He had a Dr. appointment a few days ago and weighed in at 6lbs. 11oz.!! He's finally big enough to carry around in the BabyBjorn carrier thing, which is awesome. Anyway, on with the pictures!

Now that Aiden is home, we haven't taken as many pictures as we did when he was in the NICU, so I apologize for the infrequent updates, but these are the latest! The little guy is starting to get his baby fat! Look at those chubby cheeks!

Welcome home Aiden!

Well Aiden finally got to come home on Sunday the 19th. He's doing well and Jason and I are adjusting to our new lives as parents. Neither of us have gotten much sleep over the last couple days (big suprise) and Aiden has his first Dr. appointment this morning. Here are some recent pics!

Welcome Aiden Spencer Price!!

Well as you may or may not have heard, we have a new little baby boy in the family! Aiden Spencer Price was delivered via c-section on Friday, November 3rd, 2006 at 3:45pm.
I developed a pretty severe case of preeclampsia and he needed to come out before my condition became a danger to him and me. He was born weighing 4 lbs. 5oz and was taken to the NICU. He's doing awesome, though, breathing on his own, off of the phototherapy light, and he's starting to feed from a bottle!! All the nurses love him there. He's so adorable and perfect.
The grandparents are thrilled, and the baby shower is still going to be this Saturday the 11th. Of course now it's easier to shop because we know it's a boy! Jason and I will be visiting Aiden daily at the hospital and they say he will probably be able to come home in a few weeks. We're so happy and excited to be parents!!!

Dr. Appointment, 10-19-2006

This week's Dr. appointment went well, I weigh about 138 (wow for me!), my blood pressure is good, and the baby is growing like crazy. I got a shot of RhoGAM this time, and will have another one after delivery because my blood type is O-. I heard the baby's heartbeat, pounding away, and the doctor said everything looks good.
My hands are swelling up and hurting all the time, and my feet are starting to get a little puffy too, which isn't fun. I'm getting my rings cut off on Monday, they're starting to get really tight around my fingers.
Other than that, not much going on, I have a Dr. appointment in 2 weeks, and then after that I think they'll be every week until delivery. 2 months to go! We're so excited!
The baby shower is on November 11th!
