UPDATES

I have been so darn busy, I haven't had time to update Aiden's site, but I finally got around to it today. Enjoy. Remember: the updates go from newest (top) to oldest (bottom), so if you want to see stuff in the correct order, start from the bottom. :)

Aiden's First Haircut!

Today, Jan. 10th, 2008, Aiden got his first official haircut. I've trimmed it before, but today he got it chopped off. It was so long, and we kept some locks of hair. He's so handsome now! Not that he wasn't before, but now he looks like a big boy. Little spikey hairs. Adorable. :)

New Year's 2007-2008

We didn't do anything for New Year's Eve this year, mostly because we're lazy, tired bums. We were alseep by 10pm. Aiden discovered a new trick. He pulled nearly all his dirty clothes into his crib one morning. Jason and I walked in to find his bed filled with clothes and blankets. It was hysterical.

New Year's Day we went to my friend Sarah's house for brunch. It was nice. Aiden had a good time crawling all over the place. He really liked looking at a candle Sarah had burning on her little table, which he later spilled on himself. It got all in his hair and some on his hands. Luckily Jason had cat reflexes and covered his face. It wasn't too hot thankfully. Sarah wasn't upset about her table. I got all the wax out of his hair the next day with warm water and his comb. Little stinker.

Random Aiden

It's impossible not to be in love with this kid. Here he is, with his little Vans shoes from Grandma Anna, all dressed up cute. He just melts my heart. :)

New Dog

Unfortunetly, our situation with Hudson and Saki wasn't working out, so we found them new homes. BUT! we did get another dog, and he's great. His name is Ace, and he is 1.5 years old and full of energy. Aiden loves him and the dog is great with him, which is what we wanted. We rescued him from the Boxer rescue and there were so many dogs that I wanted to take. For now, though, one is enough.

Here he is:

Christmas 2007

Christmas started on a very sad note this year. My grandma, who had been fighting cancer, passed away at 5:10am. It was hard, but we had a nice Christmas despite that. It's what she would have wanted.

Aiden got his first bloody/fat lip that morning. He lost his grip and banged his face on the coffee table in the living room. It was cute. He cried for about 5 seconds and was fine. You can see in some of the pictures where his lip is swollen. He got a lot of ssuff. Clothes, shoes, toys, everything. Jason and I got nice things as well. I got a nice Camera and a beautiful jacket as well as some other things. Jason got a new set of golf clubs and the new driver he wanted. It was a good day. We spent it with family.

Thanksgiving 2007

We had Thanksgiving in Portland, Oregon this year (well, last year now). My sick Grandma (cancer) requested a family get together for Turkey day, and so nearly the whole family was there. We drove 14 hours one way to be there, and we were there from Wwednesday to Sunday. Thanksgiving was good, we had lots of food, and had a good time. We played lots of golf while we were there, in the freezing weather. It took us 16 hours to get home. Here are some pictures from our time there. There are only a few.
